What crops does Oak currently support?
Oak currently supports a wide range of crops including coffee, areca nut, pepper, and many more crops. Oak is versatile and can be customized to support any crop type even if it's not listed. We're also constantly adding support for more crop types based on customer feedback.
Will I get help onboarding my estate?
Yes. Virtual onboarding over video calls is included with your plan. During the first month, we hold multiple weekly calls to understand your estate and help you get started. You will also have video walkthroughs in different languages and WhatsApp support. If you prefer in-person help, an optional on-estate onboarding visit is available for ₹11,800 per visit (inclusive of 18% GST); our team travels to your estate and onboards you and your staff. The on-estate visit is separate from the included virtual onboarding.
I am not satisfied with the platform, can I get a refund?
Yes, we offer a 21-day money back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the platform, you can request a refund within 21 days of your purchase. Please contact us at support@oak.com to initiate the refund process.
How secure is my estate data?
We take data security very seriously. All data is encrypted both in transit and at rest. We use industry-standard security protocols. Your estate data always remains yours and is never shared with anyone. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Can I access Oak on multiple devices?
Yes, Oak is accessible across all your devices. Use it on your desktop, tablet, or mobile phone with a consistent experience. Please note that we limit the number of devices to 1 per user. If you need to access Oak on more devices, you can purchase additional user licenses.
What onboarding is included in the Oak Standard Plan?
Virtual onboarding over video calls is included at no additional cost. During your first month, we meet with you multiple times each week to understand your estate and help you get set up with Oak.
What does a ₹11,800 on-estate onboarding visit include?
Each ₹11,800 fee (inclusive of 18% GST) covers one in-person onboarding visit per estate. Our team travels to your estate and onboards you and your staff on Oak. The visit is optional; the virtual video-call onboarding included in the Standard Plan remains available whether or not you purchase it.
Can I access Oak on multiple devices?
Yes, Oak is accessible across all your devices. Use it on your desktop, tablet, or mobile phone with a consistent experience. Please note that we limit the number of devices to 1 per user. If you need to access Oak on more devices, you can purchase additional user licenses.
Do you offer monthly billing?
We currently only offer annual billing aligned with the annual harvest cycle of crops we support. This helps us keep our prices affordable and provide the best value to our customers.
Can I add users later?
Yes, you can add additional users to your plan at any time. Each additional user is ₹5,900 per year (inclusive of 18% GST). The cost of the user will be prorated for the current year based on the time remaining in the year.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept bank transfers, UPI payments, and all major credit/debit cards. For international customers, we also accept PayPal.
Is there a discount for multiple estates?
Yes, we offer volume discounts for customers managing 3 or more estates. Please specify this when you contact us.

Oak was designed from the ground up to support the various workflows of different estates. During onboarding, we'll help you configure the system to match your specific requirements.
What if I need a feature that is not currently available?
At Oak we build features based on the feedback from our estates. If you have a feature request, please let us know and we'll add it to our roadmap for future releases.
What is BioMark?
BioMark is our flagship biometrics device featuring a state-of-the-art capacitive fingerprint sensor. It's specifically designed for agricultural environments and works reliably even with dirty or cut fingers, a common challenge in estate settings.
Does BioMark work without internet?
Yes, BioMark operates completely offline and automatically syncs attendance data via WiFi or Bluetooth when connectivity is available. This makes it perfect for remote estate locations with intermittent connectivity.
How long does the BioMark battery last?
BioMark comes with an impressive 30-day battery life on a single charge. It's rechargeable via USB-C, making it convenient to keep powered in any location.
Can I use multiple BioMark devices on my estate?
Yes, you can deploy multiple BioMark devices across your estate to parallelize attendance capture during busy periods. This is especially useful during harvest season when many workers need to check in simultaneously.
What attendance features does BioMark support?
BioMark automates daily attendance tracking with precise check-in and check-out times. This enables accurate work duration tracking, eliminating manual timekeeping and reducing errors in wage calculations.
Do the weighing scales come with calibration certificates?
Yes. Both the platform weighing scale and the hanging crane scale come with calibration certificates.
Will I need to assemble the scale?
Yes. The scales are intended for self-assembly using simple tools. Follow the manufacturer's assembly instructions when setting up your scale.
Why will my order arrive in two shipments?
Your weighing scale and your Ant weighing scale bridge device are shipped separately, so you will receive two shipments. The bridge device is already paired to your estate before dispatch.
Who manufactures the weighing scales?
The platform weighing scales are manufactured by iScale India. The hanging crane scales are manufactured by Indman Scale Corporation. Oak supplies the Ant bridge that connects the scale to your estate's Oak workflows.
