Ant Biometric Weighing Scale
Connect estate weighments to the right worker using BioMark fingerprint identification, digital scale readings, and Oak's operational records.
Ant Scale connects a supported weighing scale to Oak through a configured USB-powered Bluetooth Low Energy bridge. Teams can capture bag weights directly, review adjustments, and save a clear total without retyping readings from a paper register.
Fingerprint-to-weighment identification
When a configured BioMark device is connected, a worker can be identified by fingerprint before the weighment is saved. The recorded weight can then carry the worker, group, and family context already managed in Oak. Teams can also select a worker manually when biometric identification is not being used.
Designed for estate weighment workflows
- Direct digital capture: Record individual bags, gross weight, adjustments, and the final total from the connected scale workflow.
- Family splits: Divide a weighment across selected family members, allocating the total evenly across those selected.
- Offline queue: Keep pending entries on the device when connectivity is unreliable and sync them when the network returns.
- Printed receipts: Use a compatible Bluetooth thermal printer for worker and family weighment receipts.
Hardware requirements
Digital capture requires a configured Ant Scale USB-powered BLE bridge, a supported scale, and a compatible Bluetooth device. Web access also depends on browser Bluetooth support. BioMark and thermal-printer connections are optional integrations.
